Lane Closures

View project: S.R. 976/Bird Rd/SW 40 St from east of Laguna St to west of SW 38 Ave and S.R. 953/S.R. 952/LeJeune Rd/SW 42 Ave from S Dixie Hwy to Altara Ave Roadway Project

• Standard lane closure hours will be in place on an as-needed basis. Standard lane closures are:
   

  For construction along Bird Road requiring lane closures:

  • Eastbound: 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weekdays
  • Westbound: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., weekdays

  
  For construction along LeJeune requiring lane closures:

  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends
  • 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
  • 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights

View project: S.R. 986/Sunset Drive/SW 72 Street and S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway southbound off-ramp Intersection

• Lanes can be closed during the following hours on Sunday through Thursday:

  • S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway:
    • Southbound: 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • S.R. 986/SW 72 Street/Sunset Drive:
    • Westbound: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    • Eastbound: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

  Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Lane closure information will be posted weekly on the department’s website, www.SouthFLRoads.com.

View project: S.R. 94/Kendall Drive/SW 88 Street at SW 157 Avenue Intersection Project

• Lane closures shall occur only during non-peak hours or on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:

  • Weekdays: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.,
  • Sunday - Thursday: 9:30 p.m. -7:30 a.m.
  • Friday - Saturday: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

  Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be established with clear signage

View project: S.R. 969/NW 72 Avenue and S.R. 948/NW 36 Street Roadway Project

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours: 

  • 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weekdays 
  • 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., weekends 

View project: S.R. 25/U.S. 27/Okeechobee Road from west of W 8 Avenue to west of SE 7 Avenue Roadway Project

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours: 

  Single lane closures: 

  • 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weekdays and weekends 
  • 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weekdays and weekends 

  Dual lane closures: 

  • 12:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday 
  • 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday 
  • 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday and Saturday
