The Florida Department of Transportation announces a hybrid Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting to which all persons are invited. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT.
The purpose of this study is to improve transit travel times and person carrying capacity while addressing the needs of the traveling public and enhancing facilities for pedestrians and bicyclists. This study will look at practical transit options and examine cost, community benefits, possible funding, transportation upgrades, economic growth opportunities, and environmental impacts.
