The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a design project along State Road (SR) 9/NW 27 Avenue from NW 17 Street to NW 20 Street, in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Upgrading traffic signals in the northbound and eastbound direction at the intersection of NW 27 Avenue and NW 20 Street
• Repaving and restriping the road
• Reconstructing the curb ramps at all corners of the intersections
• Installing new signage
• Providing pedestrian control signals and detectors                                                                                                            

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

During construction, temporary lane closures and detours will have effects on traffic. Detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
