General Lane Closures

Closures may take place Monday through Saturday during the following hours:

• 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays and weekends
• 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on weekdays.
• 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on weekends.

The dedicated right-turn lane, along NW South River Dr, to access the southbound SR 826/Palmetto Expressway on-ramp will be removed. Motorists will still be able to make right turn to access the on-ramp from the remaining travel lane. This removal will allow the crew to perform bridge demolition and widening.

Travel lanes along southbound State Road (SR) 25/US 27/Okeechobee Road, between NW95 Street and NW 79 Avenue, will be shifted north to create space for a new work zone. In addition, southbound travel lanes on the NW 79 Avenue bridge will be reduced from three lanes to two. 

Travel lanes along Frontage Road from NW 95 Street to NW 77 Avenue have been shifted south onto temporary pavement. This shift will be in place for approximately six months to allow for the reconstruction of Frontage Road. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.

Starting Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 9 p.m., one northbound thru lane and one right-turn lane on NW South River Drive at the northbound S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway off-ramp will be removed.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction for approximately eight months while bridge reconstruction work is completed.

Starting tonight, Friday, February 6, 2026, at 9 p.m., one lane on eastbound/southbound S.R. 25/U.S. 27/Okeechobee Road will close for drainage work. A second lane will close at 11:00 p.m.

This work will occur every Friday night for approximately one month. All lanes will reopen by 5:30 a.m. the following day.

Starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, until Thursday, February 12, 2026, a lane closure will be in place in both directions along Frontage Road between NW 95 Street and NW 77 Avenue for drainage work. Lanes will reopen to traffic daily at 5:30 a.m. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.

The following detours will be in place:

• Lanes will remain open for local traffic only along Frontage Road.
• Motorists traveling along southbound NW 77 Avenue, wishing to access Frontage Road, will be detoured to make a right on NW 95 Street.
• Motorists traveling along southbound/eastbound Frontage Road, wishing to access NW 77 Avenue, will be detoured to make a left on NW 95 Street.
