Lane Closures

• A temporary closure of the outside eastbound lane on State Road (S.R.) 5/U.S. 1/Overseas Highway across from N. College Road is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  On Thursday, October 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., crews are scheduled to install a new streetlight post on the northeast corner of U.S. 1 and N. College Road. The right-turn lane on U.S. 1 will be closed and the outbound lanes from N. College Road onto U.S. 1 will be combined into a single lane during this work.

• Nighttime single-lane closures will take place on the Channel 5 Bridge Sunday through Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. No lane closures are scheduled on Sunday, October 18, or Sunday, October 25.

  Flaggers will periodically stop traffic in one direction to allow vehicles from the opposite direction to pass safely.
