• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Travel lanes and sidewalks will be closed during non-peak hours or non-event days. Non-peak hours are:

  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekends and weekdays
  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday
  • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday

• LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

  Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours on non-event days:

  • Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 886/Port Boulevard:
  • 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays
  • Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 5/Biscayne Boulevard:
  • 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays
  • 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays

• Lane closures shall occur only during non-peak hours or on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:

  • Weekdays: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.,
  • Sunday - Thursday: 9:30 p.m. -7:30 a.m.
  • Friday - Saturday: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

  Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be established with clear signage

• A full closure of Greco Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays will in effect starting Thursday, April 30th until Friday, May 29. During this time, please follow all posted detour signs and navigate the construction area with caution.

  Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
  
  Lanes can be closed during the following hours:
  For construction along Bird Road requiring lane closures:
  • Eastbound: 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Weekdays
  • Westbound: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Weekdays

  
  For construction along LeJeune requiring lane closures:
  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Weekends
  • 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
  • 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights

  · 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.

  • No lane closures scheduled.

  Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be established with clear signage. Lane closure information is posted weekly on the department's website, www.southflroads.com.

View project: S.R. 986/Sunset Drive/SW 72 Street and S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway southbound off-ramp Intersection

• Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours on Sunday through Thursday:

  • Southbound S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway: 9 p.m. - 7 a.m.
  • S.R. 986/SW 72 Street/Sunset Drive: 9:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

  Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be established with clear signage.

View project: S.R. 5/U.S. 1/Overseas Hwy over Channel 5 Bridge Project

• In observance of Memorial Day, no lane closures are scheduled from Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25. 

  Nighttime single-lane closures will take place on the Channel 5 Bridge Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

  Flaggers will periodically stop traffic in one direction to allow vehicles from the opposite direction to pass safely.
