The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along SR 944/NW 54 Street from NW 32 Avenue to NW 12 Avenue

Installing midblock crossings at NW 30 Avenue, NW 19 Avenue and NW 13 Avenue

Eliminating the double turn lane between NW 30 Avenue and NW 30 Court and adding a raised median

Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps, sidewalks and signals

Converting the northbound and southbound left turns to protected turns

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures will affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
