The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has begun an intersection improvement project at SR 852/NW 215 Street and SR 7/NW 2 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED
  • Widening to add a second right turn lane along eastbound NW 215 St 
  • Replacing the traffic signal at the southeast corner of the intersection 
  • Installing new stormwater drainage structure at the southwest corner of the intersection
  • Reconstructing sidewalks and curb and gutter within project limits
  • Installing pedestrian curb ramps, high emphasis crosswalks and detectable warning surfaces 
  • Installing signage and pavement markings 
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway 
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
 
Travel lanes may be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are:
  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Weekends
  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
  • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
No work can occur between 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. except for stormwater drainage work and repaving and restriping the roadway. Lane closures shall occur from:
  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday Nights
  • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights
