The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive/NW 186/183 Street from State Road (SR) 93/I-75 to NW 79 Place, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Adding one travel lane in each direction and a shared-use path on the north side of Miami Gardens Drive
- Closing a median opening at NW 186 Street and NW 85 Avenue
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
- Modifiying storm water drainage, manholes, and curb ramps
- Upgrading street lights, sidewalks, pedestrian signs and pavement markings
- Adding new vehicular and pedestrian signals at NW 87 Avenue. NW 82 Avenue. NW 75 Place and NW 73 Avenue
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.
