Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive/NW 186/183 Street from State Road (SR) 93/I-75 to NW 79 Place, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
-
Adding one travel lane in each direction and a shared-use path on the north side of Miami Gardens Drive
-
Closing a median west of NW 87 Avenue
-
Opening a median between NW 82 Avenue and NW 84 Place
-
Repaving and restriping the roadway
-
Modifiying storm water drainage, manholes, and curb ramps
-
Upgrading street lights, sidewalks, pedestrian signs and pavement markings
-
Adding new vehicular and pedestrian signals at NW 87 Avenue and NW 82 Avenue.
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.
PUBLIC MEETING:
FDOT hosted an in-person and online Public meeting on December 2, 2024 at the Country Club of Miami.
