The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Biscayne Boulevard from NE 61 Street to NE 6 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Repaving the roadway
- Adjusting the manholes
- Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps, signs and pavement markings
- Installing high emphasis crosswalks at all signalized intersections and pedestrian signal countdown
- Upgrading signalization
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
During construction, temporary lane closures and detours will affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
