The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for three roadway projects located at the intersections of SR A1A/Harding Avenue at 87 Street, 89 Street and 90 Street and SR A1A/Collins Avenue at 89 Street, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

Installing Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacons (RRFB) at the following locations:
- Harding Avenue between 87 Street and 87 Terrace
- Harding Avenue and 90 Street
- Relocating the bus shelter between 87 Street and 87 Terrace, about 50 feet north
- Widening the sidewalk on the west side of Harding Avenue between 87 Street and 87 Terrace
- Installing a traffic signal at Harding Avenue and 89 Street
- Adding a high-emphasis crosswalk
- Constructing curb ramps
- Upgrading lighting
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, there will be temporary lane closures and detours during non-peak hours that will have effects on traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
