The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has begun an intersection project on April 21, 2025 at SR 915/NE 6 Avenue and NE 139 Street in Miami-Dade County.

Installing new signing and pavement markings

Replacing pedestrian sidewalks

Installing new curb ramps
- Installing a new signalizedintersection at NE 6 Avenue and NE 139 Street
- Installing new lighting and upgrading existing lighting
RESILIENCY
- Repaving and restriping the intersection to preserve the service life of the road
TECHNOLOGY
- Installing traffic detection video equipment for reliable monitoring of the road
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
- FDOT employs local contractors in an effort to provide positive economic benefits to the community
LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION
To do this work safely, it will be necessary to close travel lanes and establish detours at times during non-peak hours:
- 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Weekends
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
- 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
Detours may be necessary to perform this work.
