Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) completed a roadway improvement project in April of 2025, along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 36.6 to MM 38.4 on Bahia Honda Key in Monroe County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
- Repaving the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail (FKOHT)
- Upgrading guardrail end treatments and connections to bridges
- Shoulder rework to address drop-offs
- Installing sod at unpaved shoulders and along the roadside slopes
- Replacing and upgrading signage and pavement markings
