Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway improvements construction project along SR 5/US1 Frontage Road on Boca Chica Key, in Monroe County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Widening, repaving and restriping the roadway
- Restoring unpaved shoulders
- Repairing front slopes along the north side of the roadway, including mangrove restoration
- Upgrading all signage and pavement markings
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION:
- Lane closures along Frontage Road will be during non-peak hours on non-event days, nights and weekends
- Non-peak hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday
