The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is hosting a second Project Advisory Group (PAG) meeting for the State Road (S.R) 9A/I-95 Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study from south of NW 62 Street to north of NW 143 Street, Financial Management Number: 414964-8-22-01.  The purpose of the study is to address operational deficiencies to relieve current and future congestion along the S.R. 9A/I-95 corridor.

The PAG meeting will be held both in-person and virtually. Attendees will be provided with a short presentation on the progress of the study and recommended alternatives, followed by an open discussion and information gathering session.

The meeting provides an opportunity for agencies and stakeholders to be directly engaged in the project development process.  The PAG will include professionals from each municipal jurisdiction in the study area, resource agencies, community organizations and other representatives from the study area.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
