The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a bridge rehabilitation project on May 11, 2026, on State Road (S.R.) 5/U.S. 1/Overseas Hwy. on Ohio Bahia Honda Bridge over the Ohio Bahia Honda Channel (Bridge #900105.)

WORK TO BE PERFORMED

  • Enhancing corrosion prevention systems
  • Reinforcing key bridge components
  • Upgrading bridge structures, including beams, and columns

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

Travel lanes may be closed only during non-peak hours on non-event days.

Non-peak hours are 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.

The speed limit will be reduced to 40 miles per hour during lane closures.
