PROJECT WORK SCOPE

FDOT is committed to ensuring the State’s infrastructure serves residents, businesses, and visitors to meet their current and future transportation needs. Benefits of this project include:

• Upgrading existing crosswalks with high-emphasis pavement markings at all intersections between Bay Drive East and Harding Avenue
• Upgrading vehicular and pedestrian signals, signs, and pavement markings
• Installing pedestrian curb ramps and new detectable warning surfaces
• Repaving and restriping to preserve the surface life of the road
• Installing a new video detection system
• Upgrading pedestrian signals for ADA compliance

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

These construction hours and do not represent continuous lane closures. Travel lanes and sidewalks will be closed during non-peak hours on non-event days. Non-peak hours are:

Single Lane Closures

• Eastbound: 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, each night
• Eastbound: 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
• Westbound: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday to Friday, each night
• Westbound: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday to Sunday, each night
• 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends

Double Lane Closures:

• Eastbound: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday to Friday, each night
• Eastbound: 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., Friday to Sunday, each night

Side Streets Single Lane Closures:

• 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends
• 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weekdays and weekends
