PROJECT WORK SCOPE

FDOT is committed to ensuring the State’s infrastructure serves residents, businesses, and visitors to meet their current and future transportation needs. Benefits of this project include:

• Constructing a new crosswalk at the intersection of S.R. 934/71 Street and Indian Creek Drive
• Upgrading vehicular and pedestrian signals, signs, and pavement markings
• Installing pedestrian curb ramps and new detectable warning surfaces
• Repaving and restriping to preserve the surface life of the road
• Installing a new video detection system
• Upgrading pedestrian signals for ADA compliance

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

Lane closures shall occur only during non-peak hours or on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:

Single Lane Closures

• Eastbound: 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning
• Eastbound: 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday night to Sunday morning
• Westbound: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning
• Westbound: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday night to Sunday morning
• 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Weekends

Double Lane Closures:

• Eastbound: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning
• Eastbound: 12 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday night to Sunday morning

Side Streets Single Lane Closures:

• 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Weekdays and Weekends
• 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Weekdays and Weekends
