The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to begin a roadway project on January 20, 2026, along State Road (S.R.) 886/Port Boulevard from S.R. 5/Biscayne Boulevard to PortMiami in Miami-Dade County.

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours on non-event days:
- Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 886/Port Boulevard:
- 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays
- Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 5/Biscayne Boulevard:
- 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays
- 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays
