PROJECT SUMMARY:
 
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is currently working on a bridge rehabilitation project at S.R. 112/Julia Tuttle Causeway over Intracoastal Waterway, Bridge #870301. This rehabilitation project addresses critical structural deficiencies along the bridge spanning the Intracoastal Waterway. The planned repairs will target deteriorated joint seals, spalled concrete, and corroded steel components. Once completed, the rehabilitation will enhance safety and extend the bridge’s service life.

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction in the area. During construction activities on the deck, two lanes of traffic in each direction will be maintained. Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and residences, as well as bike and pedestrian accommodations will be maintained.
