Project Summary

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Biscayne Boulevard from SR 915/NE 6 Avenue to NE 105 Street, in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Construct a crosswalk at the intersection of SR 5/US 1/Biscayne Blvd and NE 91 Street
• Upgrading pedestrian facilities including sidewalks and crosswalks
• Enhancing traffic signals at the intersections
• Repaving and restriping the road                                                                                                 

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

During construction, temporary lane closures and detours will have effects on traffic. Vehicular and pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
