The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from West of Venetian Boulevard Mile Marker (MM) 85.9 to north of Executive Bay Club (MM 87.2) 

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Widening northbound lanes to add a 7-foot wide buffered bike lane and extending the merge lane from the weigh station 
• Upgrading guardrail and roadside barriers at various locations
• Relocating street lights to accommodate widening
• Repaving and restriping the road 

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (MOT):

Detours and temporary lane closures during non-peak hours could impact traffic during construction.
