Project Summary

 

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 94/SW 88 Street/North Kendall Drive from west of SW 92 Avenue to SW 9100 Block, in Miami-Dade County. 

 

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Converting the full median opening at SW 92 Avenue to a westbound left turn median opening
• Eliminating left turn lane on SW 92 Avenue and providing a right turn only lane
• Widening on Eastbound Kendall Drive at 9100 block to implement U-turn only lane
• Installing new traffic signal to accommodate for new U turn lane at SW 9100 Block
• Repaving and restriping the road    

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.

 

FDOT hosted a Hybrid (In-Person and Online) Public Meeting for those interested in learning more about this design project.
