The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a bridge project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Overseas Highway over the Spanish Harbor Channel Bridge, in Monroe County. 

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Repairing the bridge deck, foundation and expansion joints

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

During construction, there will be temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours will have effects on traffic. Detours will be established with clear signage. Work will be done in stages to minimize impacts and ensure traffic flows safely through the work zone.
