This design project is now in the construction phase.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along SR 7/NW 8 Avenue/NW 7 Avenue from NW 3 Street to NW 8 Street, in Miami-Dade County. 

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Removing two abandoned driveways located at 722 NW 7 Avenue and 600 NW 7 Avenue
• Repaving and restriping the road 
• Improving sidewalk and curb and gutter
• Enhancing signage
• Replacing pavement markings
• Upgrading pedestrian signs                                                                                                        

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC

During construction, there will be temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours will have effects on traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
