The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a landscape project on August 25, 2025, along State Road (S.R.) 916/NW/NE 135 Street from NW 2 Avenue to NE 17 Avenue/Tressler Street, in Miami-Dade County.

COMMUNITY

• Adding landscape improvements within the medians along the project limits.

RESILIENCY

• Installing irrigation equipment to connect to the current system.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

• This project creates opportunities for contractors, which results in positive economic benefits for the wokers and the community.

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

Lane closures shall occur only during non-peak hours or on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:

• In the eastbound direction:
• 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., within the limits of the school zone
• 10:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., while school zone is active
• In the westbound direction:
• 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. within the limits of a school zone
• 5 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., while school zone is active

Lane closures shall not be permitted during school speed zone hours where such closures will affect traffic flow in the vicinity of the school speed zones.
