The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project the week of November 27, 2023. The project limits extend along State Road (SR) 9336/SW 392 Street from Everglades National Park to SR 5/US 1 in Miami-Dade County.

WORK PERFORMED

• Repaving and restriping the roadway
• Widening roadway and shoulders
• Installing new drainage structures
• Replacing expansion joints on bridges (3 bridges)
• Repairing damaged sidewalks
• Installing a new 12-foot shared-used path between NW 13 Avenue and NW 8 Avenue
• Upgrading existing bus stops
• Retrofitting light poles with LED bulbs between NW 6 Avenue and NW 3 Avenue
• Installing solar powered speed feedback signs

Project is Complete. Final Acceptance Received on February 27, 2025.
