The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed a roadway improvement construction project along SR 5/US1 Frontage Road on Boca Chica Key, in Monroe County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

• Widening, repaving and restriping the roadway
• Restoring unpaved shoulders
• Repairing front slopes along the north side of the roadway, including mangrove restoration
• Upgrading all signage and pavement markings

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION:

• Lane closures along Frontage Road will be during non-peak hours on non-event days, nights and weekends
• Non-peak hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday
