SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway Roadway Project Begins Construction on January 30, 2023
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is scheduled to begin a roadway project the week of August 14, 2023. The project limits extend along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from MM 19.4 to 19.8, from MM 20.6 to MM 23.1, and from MM 26.2 to MM 27.4. This project will cost an estimated $17.5 million and will take about 17 months to complete, though schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
