The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway safety project at the intersection of State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Biscayne Boulevard and 13200 Biscayne Boulevard, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Adding a raised median and a traffic separator
- Enhancing turning lanes
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Removing existing palm trees and shrubs to enhance safety
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.
Public Meeting:
The Public Meeting will be held both in-person and virtually on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, starting at 6 p.m.
