The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway safety project at the intersection of SR 25/NW 36 Street from NW 11 Avenue to NW 10 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Adding a right-turn only sign on southbound NW 11 Avenue
- Providing a new midblock High Intensity Activated Crosswalk Beacon (HAWK)
- Widening the sidewalk for pedestrian crossing and upgrading curb ramps
- Relocating the existing bus stop on the northeast corner of SR 25 and NW 11 Avenue
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Reconstructing driveways within the new sidewalk areas
- Improving pedestrian signage and lighting
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.

A Public Meeting was held both in-person and virtually Thursday, February 8 2023 at 6 p.m. at Charles Hadley Park, 1300 NW 50 Street, Miami, Fl 33142.
