Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has begun a roadway project along State Road (SR) 913/SW and SE 26 Road in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
-
Constructing a bicycle lane along SW 26 Rd from north of SW 1 Ave to south of S Miami Avenue
-
Widening the sidewalk on the north side of the road
-
Modifying drainage structures
-
Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps, signage and pavement markings
-
Installing high emphasis crosswalks at various locations
-
Upgrading pedestrian signals at S Miami Ave and Brickell Ave
-
Repaving and restriping the roadway
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Lane closures, ramp closures and detours are only allowed during non-peak hours on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:
- 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekdays and Weekends
No construction activities will occur from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., except during repaving and restriping, widening and drainage work which will occur:
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights
- 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights
- Drainage work will occur on the weekend between Friday at 11 p.m. and Monday at 5:30 a.m.
