The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a bridge rehabilitation project in September 2025, on the Bahia Honda Bridge (#900045) located over the Bahia Honda Channel at Mile Marker (MM) 36, in Monroe County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
- Rehabilitating the bridge structures to extend service life
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Travel lanes may be closed only during non-peak hours on non-event days.
Non-peak hours are: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Note that most of the construction work will be accomplished from the water which will not affect vehicular traffic.
