The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a bridge project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Overseas Highway on March 8, 2021 in Monroe County.
Nighttime single-lane closures and intermittent full closures continue on the bridge from Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Nighttime single-lane closures will occur in both the northbound and southbound directions on the bridge from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, to allow for bridge repairs.
During this period, flaggers will periodically stop traffic in both directions for about 20 to 25 minutes for special bridge operations.
Once the lanes are closed, vehicles will not be permitted to pass for the safety of drivers and crew.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
