The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project on State Road (SR)959/Red Road/SW-NW 57 Avenue from SW 8 Street to NW 11 Street, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Removing one abandoned driveway
- Reconstructing damaged sidewalks
- Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps, signalization and crosswalks
- Adding pedestrian pushbuttons at all signalized intersections
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures and detours will impact traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
