PROJECT SUMMARY:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located alongState Road (SR) 916/NW 138 Street from NW 67 Avenue to NW 57 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Reconstructing damaged sidewalks
- Installing high-emphasis crosswalks at all signalized intersections
- Upgrading lighting, signalization and pedestrian curb ramps
- Installing a flashing beacon at NW 67 Avenue
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours may affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhood will be maintained.
