The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Biscayne Boulevard from NE 5 Street to NE 11 Street, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Improving existing stormwater drainage pump system
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Upgrading pavement markings and signage
- Improving existing pedestrian curb ramps
- Adjusting existing manholes
- Replacing damaged sidewalks
- Enhancing pedestrian signalization
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.
A Public Meeting was held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2 Avenue, Room 8106, Miami, FL 33132.
