Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 36.6 to MM 38.4, in Monroe County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
- Repairing the shoulder
- Installing sod at unpaved shoulders
- Upgrading guardrail and connections to the bridges
- Replacing the signing and pavement markings
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Access to the Bahia Honda State Park will be maintained. Flaggers will be used to control traffic flow.
