The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from West of Venetian Boulevard Mile Marker (MM) 85.9 to north of Executive Bay Club (MM 87.2)
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Widen northbound lanes to add a 7-foot wide buffered bike lane and extend the merge lane from the weigh station
- Upgrade guardrail and roadside barriers at various locations
- Relocate street lights to accommodate widening
- Repave and restripe the road
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (MOT):
Detours and temporary lane closures during non-peak hours could impact traffic during construction.
