PROJECT COMPLETED APRIL 2024
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project along SR 9/NW 27 Avenue on the week of October 27, 2022 in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
- Removing abandoned driveways
- Upgrading drainage inlets
- Widening the roadway along NW 41 Street
- Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps and signage
- Reconstructing and upgrading sidewalks
- Upgrading guardrail and street signs
- Installing new pavement markings
LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION
Travel lanes shall be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are:
- 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
- 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
For underground work along NW 27 Avenue and along NW 41 Street, lane closures may be closed:
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weekdays
- 7 p.m., Friday through 5:30 a.m., Monday
Detours are expected to take place for drainage operations along NW 27 Avenue at various locations, and along NW 27 Avenue at NW 41 Street and the side streets.
- One northbound and southbound lane along NW 27 Avenue between 39 Street and NW 79 Street may be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
