The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has begun a roadway project along NW 36 Street in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED 
  • Installing pedestrian curb ramps, guardrails, detectable warning surfaces, signage and pavement markings 
  • Replacing various traffic signals and adding traffic detection video equipment Reconstructing damaged sidewalks 
  • Installing high-emphasis crosswalks at various locations 
  • Trimming trees to clear the line of sight 
  • Upgrading pedestrian signalization and pushbuttons 
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
 
Travel lanes and sidewalks shall be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are: 
  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends

Nighttime work shall occur from: 

  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights 
  • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
