The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project the week of April 1, 2024 along SR A1A/Collins Avenue in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
- Installing raised crosswalks
- Upgrading the signage to include rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB)
- Replacing pavement markings and sidewalk
- Modifying lighting
- Extending the sodded median separator
- Repaving and restriping the Frontage Road
LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Travel lanes may be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are:
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday
