The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project the week of April 1, 2024 along SR 907/Alton Road in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED
- Installing new pedestrian signals, traffic signs and pavement markings
- Replacing the existing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon to a traffic signal
- Upgrading lighting pull boxes and conduits
- Reconstructing concrete pedestrian sidewalks
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION
Travel lanes may be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are:
- 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday
In order to complete drill shaft construction, lanes may also be closed:
- 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays
