The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project the week of April 1, 2024 along SR 907/Alton Road in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED

  • Installing new pedestrian signals, traffic signs and pavement markings
  • Replacing the existing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon to a traffic signal
  • Upgrading lighting pull boxes and conduits
  • Reconstructing concrete pedestrian sidewalks
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway

LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION
Travel lanes may be closed only during nonpeak hours on nonevent days. Nonpeak hours are:

  • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday

In order to complete drill shaft construction, lanes may also be closed:

  • 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays
