Lanes can be closed during the following hours on Sunday through Thursday:
- S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway:
- Southbound: 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- S.R. 986/SW 72 Street/Sunset Drive:
- Westbound: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Eastbound: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Lane closure information will be posted weekly on the department’s website, www.SouthFLRoads.com.
- S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway:

Lane closures will be in place the week of September 21 for roadway paving. Lane closures will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. until Friday, September 24.
Residents and businesses near the area can expect:
- Lane closures
- Increased noise and vibration
- Increased activity and equipment along the project limits
