447798-1-52-01, 447802-1-52-01, 447575-1-52-01, 447582-1-52-01 : S.R. 5/US 1/S Dixie Highway from SW 264 Street to S.R. 989/SW 112 Avenue/SW 208 Drive Roadway Project

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
    Lanes can be closed during the following hours, weekdays and weekends:

    • 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., northbound and southbound
    • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., northbound
    • 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound
449369-1-52-01 : S.R. 986/Sunset Drive/SW 72 Street and S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway southbound off-ramp Intersection

  • Lanes can be closed during the following hours on Sunday through Thursday:

    • S.R. 826/Palmetto Expressway:
      • Southbound: 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    • S.R. 986/SW 72 Street/Sunset Drive:
      • Westbound: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
      • Eastbound: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

    Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Lane closure information will be posted weekly on the department’s website, www.SouthFLRoads.com.

  • Lane closures will be in place the week of September 21 for roadway paving. Lane closures will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. until Friday, September 24. 

    Residents and businesses near the area can expect:

    • Lane closures
    • Increased noise and vibration
    • Increased activity and equipment along the project limits

    Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. Please navigate the construction zone with caution and follow all posted detour signs.

449367-1-52-01 : S.R. 94/Kendall Drive/SW 88 Street at SW 157 Avenue Intersection Project

  • Lane closures shall occur only during non-peak hours or on non-event days/weekends. Non-peak hours are:

    • Weekdays: 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.,
    • Sunday - Thursday: 9:30 p.m. -7:30 a.m.
    • Friday - Saturday: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

    Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be established with clear signage

451033-1-52-01 : S.R. 969/NW 72 Avenue and S.R. 948/NW 36 Street Roadway Project

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours: 

    • 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weekdays 
    • 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., weekends 
447828-1-52-01, 449370-1-52-01 : S.R. 25/U.S. 27/Okeechobee Road from west of W 8 Ave to west of SE 7 Ave Roadway Project

  • Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours: 

    Single lane closures: 

    • 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weekdays and weekends 
    • 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weekdays and weekends 

    Dual lane closures: 

    • 12:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday 
    • 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday 
    • 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Friday and Saturday 
447046-1-52-01 : S.R. 90/U.S. 41/SW 8 St at SW 109 Ave Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Project

  • LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

    Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.

    Lanes can be closed during the following hours:

    • 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
    • 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights

    Roadway lane closures and detours will be established during any overhead work and as necessary to ensure safety during construction.

    Brief, temporary lane closures may occur daily on westbound SW 8 Street between SW 109 Avenue and SW 112 Avenue to safely accommodate crane lifting operations. These closures will be short in duration, and traffic will resume immediately after each lift is completed. 

445998-1-52-01/2, 446003-1-52-01 : S.R. 972/SW 22 St/SW 3 Ave/SW 13 St/Coral Way from SW 22 Ave to SW 17 Ave and from SW 12 Ave to Brickell Ave

    Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.

    Lanes can be closed during the following hours

    Weekdays, nights and weekends: 

    • 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Stormwater drainage work closures will be in place:

    • 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
443913-1-52-01 : S.R. 886/Port Boulevard from S.R. 5/U.S. 1/ Biscayne Boulevard to PortMiami

  • LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

    Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Lanes can be closed during the following hours on non-event days:

    • Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 886/Port Boulevard:
    • 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays
    • Single and double-lane closures along S.R. 5/Biscayne Boulevard:
    • 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays
    • 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays
    • Westbound S.R. 886/Port Boulevard: Up to two lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Tuesday, August 18 through Thursday, August 20, 2026.
    • Eastbound S.R. 886/Port Boulevard: Up to two lanes will be closed from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, August 18 through Thursday, August 20, 2026.
    • ​​​Please note that at least one lane in each direction will remain open to traffic at all times. This schedule may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
