PROJECT SUMMARY:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along SR 976/SW 40 Street/Bird Road from east of SW 87 Avenue to west of SR 826, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Adjusting utility manholes
- Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps
- Modifying existing driveways
- Upgrading pedestrian signals
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Flaggers will be used to control traffic flow. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
