Welcome
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project located along 5/Overseas Highway from Mile Marker (MM) 108.4 to MM 112.8, in Monroe County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Repairing damaged road pavement
- Reconfiguring turn lanes to accommodate a bicycle lane
- Realigning Gilbert’s Resort Drive to address erosion
- Upgrading and installing new guardrail
- Upgrading signs and pavement marking
- Repaving and restriping the roadway
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, there will be temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours will have effects on traffic. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
