The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for two roadway projects located along SR 9A/I-95 Ramps from the Rickenbacker Causeway to SW 25 Road and from SR 90/SW 8 Street to SW 7 Street, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

Widening the roadway on I-95 southbound off ramp to SW 25 Road

Rehabilitating the concrete pavement

Repaving and restriping the roadway

Improving lighting and signalization
-
Reconstructing sidewalk and curb and gutter
-
Upgrading traffic signals and signage
-
Trimming landscape encroaching the roadway

Upgrading pedestrian signing and pavement markings

Upgrading guardrail
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures during non-peak hours and detours may affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained.
