The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for two roadway projects located along SR 970/SR 5/Downtown Distributor Ramps from South Miami Avenue to SE 2 Avenue and along SR 9A/I-95 from SR 90/SW 8 Street to S Dixie Highway, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
SR 970/SR 5/Downtown Distributor Ramps from South Miami Avenue to SE 2 Avenue
- Rehabilitating the concrete pavement
- Repaving and restriping the road
- Reconstructing guardrail
- Adjusting manholes
- Upgrading existing damaged curb and gutter and pavement markings
- Reconstructing damaged sidewalks at pedestrian crossings
- Upgrading signage
- Trimming landscape
- Providing crosswalks and countdown signals with push buttons
SR 9A/I-95 from SR 90/SW 8 Street to S Dixie Highway
- Repaving and restriping the shoulder pavement
- Upgrading guardrail
- Upgrading vehicular signs
- Replacing pavement markings
- Installing signage
