Project Summary
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a lighting project along State Road (SR) A1A /Collins Avenue from the 4900 Block to 5800 Block, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Replacing existing lighting with Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures
- Installing new LED lighting and structures at various intersections
- Improving illumination at the crosswalks
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC
During construction, temporary lane closures and detours will affect traffic. Pedestrian detours will be established with clear signage. Access to adjacent businesses and neighborhoods will be maintained.
