South Florida Roads (Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties)

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began a roadway project along State Road (SR) 924/NW 119 Street/Gratigny Road on March 14, 2022 in Miami-Dade County.
  • Rehabilitating the bridge over Rio Vista Canal (# 870621)
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway
  • Modifying traffic separators between NW 27 Avenue and NW 22 Avenue
  • Reconstructing pedestrian crosswalks, sidewalks, driveways and, curb and gutters
  • Upgrading drainage structures
  • Replacing traffic signal mast arms at the intersection of NW 17 Avenue
  • Upgrading vehicular and pedestrian signs, signals and pavement markings
Travel lanes and sidewalks shall be closed only during non-peak hours on non-event days. Non-peak hours are:
  • 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekdays and weekends
  • 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights
  • 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday nights
During the scheduled nighttime bridge rehabilitation work, motorists will experience a traffic shift along eastbound and westbound SR 924/NW 119 Street/Gratigny Road. Please follow all posted signage and use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
